The series of events started on Saturday morning with a competition with students who recited the Koran in the Al Barokah prayer room, namely a water relay race., competition to put pencils in bottles, cracker eating contest. The competition continued in the afternoon which contained a water breaking competition and a calligraphy competition.
The competition aims to provide enthusiasm to always improve spiritual and moral quality, and mutual cooperation among Muslims.
After that, it was quite lively and the students there were enthusiastic,The event continued with a recitation attended by village elders and clerics, including Mr. Suwad, Imam of Al Barokah prayer room, Muslim father as the religious leader in the village.
Together with KKN Students, the studies are going well, not only as a moment to stay in touch but as an initial milestone to live a better life and Istiqomah as Kholifah Fil Ardh.
In his speech, representing KKN students, village coordinator (Kordes) Orange Village, Chalim thanked local residents for their very high enthusiasm and for the help from residents who came without being asked.
“We also ask permission from the residents of Jeruk for the arrival of our KKN friends in Jeruk Village and ask for permission to create activities that are beneficial to the residents of Orange Village and ask for their support.” he concluded.
” With the hope that religious activities in Orange Village will continue to develop and the community will continue to be enthusiastic about reciting the Koran, not only their children but also their parents.”he closed.
On the same occasion, Mr. Kyai Muntasir as a KKN student also gave a lecture expressing his gratitude for the blessings of Allah who has given us health benefits so that we can gather at the event to commemorate the Islamic New Year. 1446. He delivered material on the importance of the month of Muharram, events that occurred in non-Muharram, and motivate residents to continue to live up to the nuances of the Islamic religion, especially inviting people to learn the Koran and Islamic religious knowledge. God willing, KKN students are ready to accompany the residents and provide each other with useful knowledge, both from residents to students and from students to residents..
