IAIKUPers- Thursday (6 March 2025) Khozinatul Ulum Islamic Institute (I AM AWESOME) Blora held a Grand Launching event UPT Language Development Center (P2B) in the hall of my IA Blora. The theme raised in this event is “The language of uniting, The science of brightening”. This event was attended by various groups, Starting from the Chancellor of Ihaku Blora, Kh. Ahmad Zaky Fuad, S.Th., M.Ag., Deputy Rector I Ahmad Saifulloh, M.Pd.I, Deputy Rector III Ahmad Saiful Rizal, M.Pd., Vice Chancellor IV Dr.H.Nur Ihsan Saleh,Lc.MA., Dean of Faculty, Head of Study Program (Head of Study Program), Chairman of LPPM, Chief UPM, Lecturer, as well as IAKIKU BLORA STUDENT.
On this occasion, The Chancellor of Ihahiku Blora, Kh. Ahmad Zaky Fuad, S.Th., M.Ag., convey the importance of the Language Development Center UPT in the campus environment. According to him, Language is a very vital element to open other civilizations and establish relationships in this globalization era. He emphasized that the mastery of the language, Especially international languages such as Arabic and English, will support communication and collaboration between parties, both on campus and outside campus. “With this Language Development Center UPT, It is expected that students and lecturers can improve language skills to face global challenges,” he said.
Besides that, The Chancellor also said that a few months ago the campus had collaborated with several foreign universities, One of them in Malaysia, which is expected to provide opportunities for students to interact internationally. It hopes that students who are leaving for Malaysia, especially KIP scholarship recipients, can take advantage of this opportunity well.
Meanwhile, Head of UPT Language Development Center, Hj. Mil'ul Hana, S.HUM., explained that the main purpose of the establishment of this UPT was to improve the quality of education and develop language skills in IAIKU BLORA. “UPT This language is here to support the academic community in developing language skills, both in the context of passive and academic communication,” he said. He also invited the entire academic community to jointly support the success of this UPT, which will not be realized without the active participation of all parties.
On this occasion, UPT Language Development Center also announced their first program, namely Arabic and English skills tests for IAKIKI Blora students. This test aims to measure student language skills and give special attention to students who need further development. Hj. Mil'ul Hana added, “Besides focusing on Arabic and English, We also plan to hold other language tests, like German and Mandarin in the future.”
Grand Launching UPT This language development center is marked by cutting ribbons by the Chancellor of IAIKU Blora, Kh. Ahmad Zaky Fuad, S.Th., M.Ag., and Submission of UPT SK Language Development Center by the Chancellor to Hj. Mil'ul Hana, S.HUM., as the Head of the Language Development Center UPT. This event was followed by a general stadium activity that presented an English speaker, Naila Intania, M.Pd., and Arabic speakers, Anas Dliyaul Muqsith, guided by moderator Khoirina Nur Salamah, M.Sos. Event participants were very enthusiastic, In fact, many people asked the resource persons during the session.
With the launch of the Language Development Center UPT, It is hoped that IAIKU Blora students can be more developed in mastering foreign and local languages, who will support their academic and career progress in the future.
