IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora Signed Mou with UIN Salatiga: Encourage increasing human resources and academic collaboration

IAIKUPers – Institute of Islamic Religion (IAI) Khozinatul Ulum Blora established a strategic cooperation with the State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga through the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which took place in the Auditorium of Iaiku Blora on Monday (5/5/2025). This activity is an important milestone in efforts to improve the quality of human resources, Strengthening Tri Dharma Higher Education, and expanding the academic network of the two institutions.

The signing of the MoU was carried out by the Rector of IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora, KH. Ahmad Zaky Fuad, S.Th.I., M.Ag., and Postgraduate Director of UIN Salatiga, Prof. Dr. Phil. ASFA WIDIYANTO, MA. The event was also attended by the leadership of the two campuses, lecturer, education staff, and Administrative Staff.

This cooperation includes various fields, Among them education and teaching, study, as well as devotion to the community. One of the important points in this agreement is the proposal program for the relief of the cost of education in the implementation of education (SPP) equal to 20% per semester for S2 study period (four semesters) Dan S3 (Six semesters) For lecturers or employees of IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora who continued their studies in Postgraduate UIN Salatiga. The relief applies with the provisions of a minimum of two people registering every new school year.

In his speech,Prof. Dr. Phil. ASFA WIDIYANTO, The Supreme Court said that Postgraduate UIN Salatiga had six study programs, consisting of one doctor's program (S3) Islamic religious education (PAI), and five master programs (S2), namely PAI, PGMI, PBI, Islamic family law, and Islamic economy. All study programs have been accredited superior, open great opportunities for lecturers to get a scholarship, Including from LPDP. He also stressed the importance of research collaboration, publication, and the development of Islamic education in Indonesia through this partnership.

Meanwhile, The Chancellor of Ihahiku Blora, KH. Ahmad Zaky Fuad s.Th.I., M.Ag, express gratitude and appreciation for this cooperation initiative. He said that there were still a number of lecturers who had been certified but had not yet continued their postgraduate studies, And this momentum is a great opportunity for improving the quality of human resources. He hopes that this collaboration will not only be limited to further studies, but also penetrated into various other forms of academic activities.

A warm atmosphere and full of enthusiasm enveloped the activity, which was closed with the surrender of souvenirs by Prof.Dr. Phil. ASFA WIDIYANTO, MA to the Rector Iiku kh. Ahmad Zaky Fuad s.Th.I., M.Ag, as well as a group photo session as a symbol of friendship and joint commitment to build synergy between institutions. Through this collaboration, Both institutions hope to strengthen and encourage the progress of Islamic education at the local and national levels.
