MuriaNewsCom, Blora – The Blora District Government's efforts to reduce stunting cases have received support from many parties. One of them was a student from the Islamic High School (STAI) Khozinatul Ulum Blora who implemented the Real Work Lecture program (KKN).
Chairman of STAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora Nur Ihsan stated, participated in the KKN program this time 70 students who will be placed in four villages in Jepon District. Namely, Soko Village, Eight, Bacem, and Jatirejo. KKN implementation begins 7 February to 19 next March.
According to him, The IX KKN program takes several themes. Among others, eradicating Arabic illiteracy and overcoming regional poverty.
"We also want to help the Blora Regency Government in overcoming the stunting problem. We ask these KKN students to be able to apply the knowledge they have gained during college to bring benefits to society," he said at the Blora Regency Government's reception of KKN students in the regional secretariat meeting room.
Deputy Regent Arief Rohman hopes that students can play a role in community-based rural development efforts and village potential. Arief also wants students to take part in developing community human resources according to the KKN theme. Namely the eradication of Arabic illiteracy, education about public health to reduce stunting rates and economic development to reduce poverty.
"Help us to map the potential of villages that can be developed economically. If there are uninhabitable houses in the KKN target villages, Later a home renovation program can be carried out, collaboration with Baznas. We pray that the KKN for STAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora students will run smoothly," he said when receiving the group of KKN students.
