22 October 2024 - Muhammad Amirul Huda, semester students 3 Al-Qur'an and Tafsir Science Study Program, Ushuluddin Faculty, Khozinatul Ulum Islamic Institute, Blora, managed to win second place in the Academic Writing Competition on Qur'anic Studies 2024. This competition was organized by the Department of Qur'anic Studies Faculty of Ushuluddin and Religious Studies Raden Intan State Islamic University of Lampung.
Competitions held on 22 October 2024 This was attended by participants from various universities at home and abroad, which shows the quality and depth of research in the field of Al-Qur'an studies. Previously, Huda has entered the top ten students whose articles passed the standard.
Amirul Huda finally succeeded in presenting his work through in-depth analysis and high originality of thought, thus attracting the attention of the jury and getting an award. He managed to defend his research article with the title “Agricultural verses: Critical Study of Plant Pest and Disease Management”. Even better, This scientific work will be published in the journal Al-Dzikra: Journal of Al-Qur'an and Al-Hadith Science Studies, Sinta accredited 4.
When met on the sidelines of lectures, Amirul Huda stated, “I am very grateful for this achievement. This is the result of hard work and support from the dean of the Ushuluddin IAIKU Blora faculty, Prof. Dr. H. Abdul Mufid, Lc., M.S.I, mentor and chairman of LPPM Zaimul Asroor, S.Th.I., M.A., Lecturers, as well as friends on the IAIKU campus. Hopefully this achievement can motivate other students to continue working and contributing in the field of scientific writing on Al-Qur'an studies.”
Prof. Dr. Abdul Mufid, Lc. M.S.I also expressed appreciation to Amirul Huda for his achievements, “We are proud to have students who are able to compete at the international level. This shows that the Khozinatul Ulum Blora Islamic Institute has great potential in the academic field, especially in the study of the Koran.”
