IAIKU PERS -UPT Language Development Center (P2B) Khozinatul Ulum Islamic Institute (I AM AWESOME) Blora held a socialization on the implementation of language skills tests for all semester students 6 from various study programs. This activity targets both regular and extension classes, including from the central campus and branch, and carried out at the IAKIKU Blora Auditorium on Thursday (17/04/2025) for regular classes and Saturdays (19/04/2025) for the extension class.
The socialization is the first step to strengthen student language competencies, especially in Arabic and English. In his speech, Naila Intania, M.Pd., lecturer as well as representatives from UPT P2B, emphasizes that this institution is present to improve the language skills of the IAKIKU Blora academic community., as well as supporting the readiness of graduates to face global challenges.
"UPT P2B IAIKU Blora is a center for pesantren -based language development. We want my IA graduates not only to excel in Islamic science, but also has qualified language skills in order to compete in the global era,he said.
Naila also explained that P2B consistently organized various development programs, such as training and tests of Arabic and English language skills for students and lecturers. This includes the implementation of a personal Arabic language test called Imlam which is parallel to the TOEFL, and beifity as a benchmark for English skills.
In line with this, Hj. Mil'ul Hana, S.HUM., As the Head of UPT P2B, said that starting this year, Language skills test is a mandatory requirement for final year students before carrying out munaqosah or proposal seminar. He stressed that all semester students 6 without exception both regular, cross work, as well as the branch class must take this test as part of the completeness of academic administration.
BEPT Test Implementation (Blora English Eficiency Test) scheduled on Sunday, 27 April 2025 o'clock 09.00 WIB for the extension and branch class, While the Imlam test was held in the afternoon. Both tests are done online through Google Classroom. Participants are required to bring a supporting device, Like a laptop or Android phone, and ensure that the internet network is stable during the implementation of the exam. Campus identity in the form of KTM is also a mandatory equipment.
The nature of the close book requires participants to work independently. The committee only allows carrying a small blank paper as a tool. Each participant will receive the access code before the exam starts. If a fraud is found, Participants will be immediately disqualified and not allowed to take the re -examination.
Graduation standard for Arabic tests (IMLAM) determined by a minimum score 375 and maximum 600, As for the minimum English English 400. The test results will be announced no later than two weeks after implementation. Participants who have not met the standards will be given remedial opportunities according to campus policy.
With this policy, IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora showed a real commitment in preparing the academic generation that was not only capable of knowledge, but also competent in language. A definite step towards graduates who are able to answer the challenges of the global world.
