Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education) Republic of Indonesia, Prof. H.Mohamad Nasir, Ph.D, Ak made a working visit to Blora Regency, Sunday (16/9).
The Minister of Research and Technology visited two campuses, namely the Ronggolawe Technology College (STTR) Cepu and Islamic Religious High School (STAI) Khozinatul Ulum Blora.
The Minister was invited by Deputy Regent H. Arief Rohman M.Si and the management of the Ronggolawe Foundation then drove to the STTR Cepu campus.
At the STTR Cepu campus, The Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education inaugurated the Computer Laboratory Building which was assistance from the ministry he leads. The inauguration was carried out by signing an inscription, accompanied by the Deputy Regent, Ronggolawe foundation administrators and the entire academic community.
“I didn't imagine I could stop by STTR, This was an impromptu agenda and it turned out to be possible. Hopefully the existence of the new computer laboratory will support technological developments on this campus,said the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education.
The Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education said that education must be promoted to the community, especially in the field of science and technology, like the one at STTR Cepu, where the campus has several engineering study programs in the future, hopefully it can progress and develop.
“This certainly must continue to be encouraged, especially I heard that STTR will become an Institute, and it would be very good if it could become an Institute and it would definitely attract students around Blora, and the benefits can be felt by neighbors like Tuban, Rembang, Ngawi and Bojonegoro,he hoped.
After inaugurating the building, Continue the journey to Blora to attend the Open Senate Meeting for the Fourth Bachelor Degree Graduation for the Al-Quran and Tafsir Science Study Program (IAT) STAI Khozinatul Ulum in the Hall of the Regent's Official House.
Chairman of STAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora Nur Ihsan expressed his thanks to the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education who was willing to come to attend the Open Senate Meeting with the agenda of the IAT Study Program Graduation.
“It's an honor for all of us, The Minister can be present personally to provide direction and advice to the graduates and female graduates,” he said.
Regent Djoko Nugroho, who was also present at the graduation ceremony, congratulated 79 graduates and graduate students who have graduated and will receive a diploma.
"Congratulations on dedicating yourself to the community. Even though all of Jenengan's education is based on religion , However, the benefits of knowledge must be felt by all groups. Remember, We live in the very large Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, various tribes, culture and religion,” stressed the Regent.
The Regent also expressed his thanks to STAI Khozinatul Ulum for producing expert religious agents in Blora Regency. It is hoped that this can improve the morals of the nation's children in the future.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, in front of the STAI community, Khozinatul Ulum, emphasized the importance of the relevance of the skills of university and industrial graduates as the key to economic growth..
According to him, as mandated by Law no. 12 Year 2012 is obliged to ensure integration and relevance between graduate skills and the world.
"Hopefully higher education at Islamic boarding schools like STAI Khozin can continue to progress, growing and quality, not only in religious education but in other education as well. There is a will there is a way, Don't just study in the field of religion but from other fields too. It is hoped that it is not enough just to educate as a graduate but as a qualified graduate,he hoped.
His party supports if STAI Khozin is later developed into an institute and even a university.
“Please just take care of the steps, God willing, we will agree to it. I am very happy to attend the graduation of an Islamic boarding school-based college like this. Apart from its strong religion, Other knowledge is also mastered," continued the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education.
The Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education was also asked to launch six new study programs opened at STAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora. Among them is the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD), Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI), Sharia Economics, Sharia Business Management, and Sharia Banking.
Thus, now STAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora, which is located at Jl. MR Iskandar number 42 Mlangsen has eight Education Programs (study program). Two old programs are Al-Quran Knowledge and Tafsir (IAT) and Hadith Science (ILHA).
