IAIKUPers, Sunday (12 January 2025) – Khozinatul Ulum Islamic Institute (I AM AWESOME) Blora held an inauguration event for the Grand Student Organization (ORMAWA) which took place in the campus auditorium. The inauguration is one of the important moments in the academic year which aims to strengthen solidarity, leadership, and the spirit of organization among students.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Chancellor of IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora, KH. Ahmad Zaki Fuad, S.Th.I., M.Ag., along with the campus leadership, including the Chair of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) and Head of the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM), Dean of the Faculty and Head of Study Program (Head of Study Program), as well as related parties who provide full support for student development.
In his speech, Rector of IAI Khozinatul Ulum,KH. Ahmad Zaki Fuad, S.Th.I., M.Ag., emphasized the important role of ORMAWA as a forum for students to develop their potential, hone leadership skills, and involved in various social activities, academic, and culture. “How important the role of ORMAWA is in campus life, because through this organization, Students can train themselves and develop character to achieve proud student achievements. Therefore, Students who are members of ORMAWA have an important role in campus development,he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chancellor III for Student Affairs, Ahmad Saiful Rizal, M.Pd., also expressed his appreciation for the inauguration of the new ORMAWA management. According to him, although IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora has more than 1.300 student, as much as 169 students are selected to join ORMAWA and are ready to commit to advancing the campus. “This is an extraordinary achievement. Every year, Our ORMAWA has experienced significant progress, and I hope that this new management can continue to improve the quality of the organization compared to the previous management,” he said.
Ahmad Saiful Rizal also reminded that the success of a leader lies in the policies taken to make the organization better. “I believe ORMAWA is the right place for students to develop their networks and themselves. Although the career choice is not yet clear, Being involved in this organization provides an opportunity to hone one's skills and competencies,” he added.
The inauguration of ORMAWA's new management includes the Student Senate (SEMA), Student Executive Council (WHEN), as well as HMPS from various study programs. This inauguration was led directly by the Deputy Chancellor III for Student Affairs, Ahmad Saiful Rizal, M.Pd., Dean of Faculty, Chairman of the Student Executive Council ( When) and witnessed by the attendees who came.
The inauguration process is followed by signing the handover of positions from the previous management to the new management.
With the inauguration of the new ORMAWA management, It is hoped that it can make a greater contribution in creating an active campus environment, innovative, and full of enthusiasm in advancing IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora.
