IAIKUFEST 2025: The Hadroh competition became an event for ukhuwah and da'wah through art

IAIKUPers – The atmosphere of the Graha Nusantara Building on Tuesday, 27 Mei 2025, filled with enthusiasm and echo of the chanting of prayers in the Hadroh competition which is part of the IAkufest series 2025. Organized by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora, This competition presents participants from various high school/vocational school/MA levels in Blora and its surroundings, who competed to display the best abilities in the art of Islamic tambourines.

Participants who took part in this competition came from ten schools, Among them are Al-Banjari Blora High School, Public High School 2 Blora, MAR, MAN Blora, Al-Hikmah Ngadipurwo Vocational School, State High School 2 Blora, Public High School 2 Cepu, An-Nuroniyah Sulang Vocational School, MA Khozinulul Ulum Blora, and SMK Fatkhul Majid Kasiman Bojonegoro.

This hadroh competition is not just displaying musical skills, but also full of rules and creativity. Each participant is obliged to bring a mandatory song, ie “Santri Day”, and one selected Islamic song from the committee. They bring their own musical instruments, Making yells for IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora, and allowed to use traditional or electronic tools. However, For the sake of maintaining order, Participants are prohibited from sounding small tambourines during the event. Each group was only given time to appear for 12 minute, and only allowed to appear once.

Hundreds of spectators filled the room, starting from the academic community of IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora, Students, student, Companion teacher, to the general public. The atmosphere was more lively with the presence of two hilarious MCs, Lista Nur Shalihah and Mohammad Narendra, who succeeded in melting the atmosphere with their typical jokes.

Before the race starts, Participants were given the opportunity to check the sound of one song as a warm -up. And while waiting for the judging results, The atmosphere of the stage was not left silent. Vocal Solo Appearance from Selfi Netriana (Al-Banjari Islamic Boarding School) Accompanied by Fadhilatus Salamatus Fauziah and Nur Jannah (PAI students) As well as the appearance of the Banjari Group, Iaku Blora students with the songs of Mahalul Qiyam, are increasingly enlivening the event.

Three jury consisting of Deputy Rector I Ahmad Saifulloh, M.Pd.I, Dean of Fitk Arim Irsyadulloh Albin Jaya, M.Pd., as well as my Ihahiku lecturer Mohammad Sajudin, M.Pd., Assess each appearance carefully and objectively. The results were announced enthusiastically:

Champion 1 won by Al-Banjari Blora High School with a striking value 92

Champion 2 achieved by SMK An-Nuroniyah Sulang Rembang with a value 86,25

Champion 3 achieved by Ma As-Syakur Banjarejo with value 85,5

Harapan 1 achieved by SMK Al-Hikmah Blora with a value 83,85

Harapan 2 won by SMA Negeri 2 Blora with value 76,75

Harapan 3 achieved by Man Blora with value 74,72

Not only the main winner, All participants who have not been fortunate also received an award and appreciation from the committee. Dean of FITK, Arim Irsyadulloh Albin Jaya, M.Pd., convey the message that this activity is a tangible form of fostering the interests and talents of students and students in the field of Islamic art. He even specifically gave an award of Rp. 500,000 to non-juara participants as a form of motivation to continue to practice.

"This activity is not just a competition, but also a means of strengthening ukhuwah Islamiyah and preserving Islamic culture through hadroh. The enthusiasm of the participants today proves that Hadroh is still an important part of the soul of the younger generation,” he said.

The event closed with enthusiasm, and great hopes for this kind of competition to continue as a forum for developing potential and da'wah through art. IAIKUFEST 2025 also successfully carved a deep impression and strengthened the symbols of Islam among the younger generation through a tambourine boom that was full of meaning.
