IAIKUPers – Thursday, 16 January 2025 -Sultan Zainal Abidin University (UniSZA) received a special visit from the Khozinatul Ulum Islamic Institute (I AM AWESOME) Blora, Indonesia, in the program International Student Academic Forum. This visit was followed by 11 students who receive Smart Indonesia Card Scholarships (KIP) Studying, accompanied by 5 lecturers and staff, and led by Brother Agus Chalim. This program is specifically designed to provide international experience to students receiving the KIP Kuliah scholarship.
Rector IAIKU, Haji Ahmad Zaki Fuad, M.Ag., expressed his support for this program. “We want to provide opportunities for students who receive the KIP Kuliah Scholarship to gain international insight and cross-cultural experience. This will enrich their learning experience and strengthen global competitiveness,” he said.
For four days in Malaysia, Student Representative Council (MPP) UniSZA together with the Faculty of General Studies and Advanced Education guided the IAIKU delegation in various activities. IAIKU students were invited to get to know the UniSZA student organization structure and visit the university's main facilities, like a library, lecture hall, and a student activity center.
“We are very inspired to see how UniSZA supports student development through various facilities and programs. This provides many valuable lessons for us as students receiving the KIP College Scholarship,” said Fajar Miftahul Munir, one of the participants from the Sharia Economics Study Program.
This program aims to broaden students' insight into international culture and education systems, while encouraging them to become innovative and globally competitive leaders. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the relationship between UniSZA and foreign universities, creating students who are broad-minded and contribute to global society.
