IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora Holds a Visit to Unisnu Jepara for Benchmarking and Signing of MoU

IAIKUPers – Thursday (19 December 2024), Khozinatul Ulum Islamic Institute (IAI) Blora paid a visit to Nahdlatul Ulama Islamic University (Unisnu) Jepara in the context of benchmarking activities and signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This event took place in the Unisnu Jepara Rector Seminar Room.

 

This activity was attended by the Chancellor of IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora, H. Ahmad Zaki Fuad, M.Ag., along with his entourage. Meanwhile, From Unisnu Jepara, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs was present (Field 1), Dr. Miftah Arifin, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., as well as the Deputy Chancellor for Administration and Finance (Field 2), Dr. Ahmad Khoirul Anam, S.E., M.Si., representing the Chancellor of Unisnu Jepara who was unable to attend.

 

In his speech, IAI Chancellor Khozinatul Ulum Blora expressed his gratitude for the visit. “Hopefully this visit will bring benefits to both universities, both Unisnu Jepara and IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora,” he said.

 

Deputy Chancellor for Affairs 1 Unisnu Jepara, Dr. Miftah Arifin, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., welcomed this initiative and emphasized the importance of partnerships in strengthening networks between Nahdlatul Ulama-based universities (NOT). “Let's grow together, study together, to mutually advance these two universities. We are ready to support what IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora needs, even if necessary, we are ready to be invited to Blora,” he said.

 

Further, Dr. Miftah Arifin hopes that this visit will be the door for wider cooperation, not only in the academic field, but also in service to the community.

 

The Memorandum of Understanding between Unisnu Jepara and IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora includes the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education. It is hoped that this collaboration between NU-based educational institutions can strengthen their strategic role in the development of Islamic science and improve the quality of human resources.

 

After signing the Memorandum of Understanding, The activity continued with a benchmarking session involving the Unisnu Jepara Tarbiyah Faculty, Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), as well as the Quality Assurance Agency (LPM) Unisnu Jepara.

 

With this collaboration, Both institutions are expected to be able to make a significant contribution to the world of education and community service based on Islamic and NU values.
