IAIKUPers- Saturday (6 July 2024)Real Work College Students (KKN) Group 3 IAI Khozinatul Ulum Blora participated in the joint prayer at the beginning of the Hijriah New Year I446 H at the Darul Ulum Kalipang Prayer Room,Tanggel village , Randublatung District, Blora district.
The agenda for commemorating the first of Muharram has become part of the local wisdom of the community. The local community seems very enthusiastic about participating in this event.
Commemoration of one Muharram is the new year of Muslims. The determination of Muharram is based on Hijriyah calendar calculations. The Hijri calendar is a calendar system based on the rotation and revolution of the moon.
Muslims use the Hijri calendar which is based on the rotation or calculation of the moon. Temporary, The solar calculation is the Muharram calendar that people generally use.
The procession of joint prayer activities was led by Brother Kamil ( KKN participant) and followed by the congregation.
Meanwhile Narendra (KKN participant ) said that the suroan activity was aimed at establishing friendship and reminding the struggle of Rasulullah SAW when preaching.
