Dema Pers- Sunday (22 October 2023) Thousands of students from the Khozinatul Ulum Foundation Blora Family held a student parade to commemorate National Santri Day.
At this parade, all students from various institutions under the auspices of the Khozinatul Ulum Foundation participated in the parade along Jalan Iskandar until they returned to the Khozinatul Ulum Islamic boarding school in Blora.
Along the parade route, The people of Blora seemed enthusiastic about watching the performance of the students, The MI Khozinatul Ulum Marching Band, which performed several songs, seemed able to entertain the people watching the parade.
Starting from formal education consisting of MI Khozinatul Ulum, MTs Khozinatul Ulum, Al Mubarok IP Middle School, MA Khozinatul Ulum, and IAI Khozinatul Ulum.
Besides that, Participants from non-formal educational institutions such as Madin-Madin and other institutions, such as BMT Al Barokah and Toko Menara also did not fail to take part in celebrating this santri day.
Before the santri day parade started there was also a call to prepare for the departure of the Ta'aruf parade.
kh. Muharor Ali as the caretaker of the Khozinatul Ulum Blora Foundation advised the Khozinatul Ulum students to be serious about reciting and studying.. So that in the future the knowledge gained can become useful provisions in the future.
“You have to take this education seriously, study, Study, penance, God willing, what you aspire to will be beneficial for the nation and the country, God willing it will be achieved,“Pesan kh muharor ali”.
According to him, The students can become anything in order to contribute to the progress of this nation.
In Blora Regency, Many students have taken a role in supporting regional development.
The students contribute with various professions and skills, starting from doctors, guru, trader, and others.
Even, Islamic boarding school students can become regional heads to state leaders. Like the Regent of Blora, Arief Rohman, who is a student who now serves as regional head in Blora Regency.
“Students can play any role, someone becomes President, someone became Vice President, someone became governor, became Deputy Governor, and someone became regent, some are traders and so on, This indicates that the students are cool, we must be proud as students," said Kh. Muharor Ali in front of the students of the Khozinatul Ulum Blora Islamic Boarding School.
They are grateful, that President Joko Widodo through Presidential Decree Number 22 Year 2015 has set a date 22 October is Santri Day.
Where is the determination 22 October refers to the outbreak of the Jihad Resolution which contains the fatwa of the obligation to wage jihad in order to defend Indonesia's independence.
The rally then closed with a joint prayer led by KH. Muharror Ali.

The enthusiastic participants were very happy with this activity, Many of our students won door prizes, Hopefully this door prize can be useful for our students at the Islamic boarding school. ” Said one of Madin's teachers.
