Head of Bappeda Blora Regency, A. Mahboob Djunaedi, S, Pd., M, And. welcomes and supports the BPJS Employment program to provide protection to pupils and students when carrying out field work practices. So that when pupils and students start to do internships, they are safely protected by the employment social security program.
“This employment social security program is very important for intern students, because risks can occur at any time. So that students are protected, we register them as BPJS Employment participants and this collaboration has been going on for two years.,” said the Head of Blora Regency Bappeda.
Head of the Blora Branch BPJS Employment Office, Agus Suyono explained that it is important for students and interns to get protection because they also have the same risks as workers when doing work at their practice site..
This year as many as hundreds of Blora Regency students and students have been protected by the BPJS Employment program. They are registered in the Work Accident Insurance program (JKK) and the Death Guarantee program (JKM),” said the head of the BPJS Office,Tuesday (16 July).
By registering these internship students with BPJS Employment, he continued,they are protected from the journey to the internship company or internship until returning home, will be covered by BPJS Employment.
“They will receive unlimited treatment until they recover. We hope that all Vocational Schools/High Schools and Universities in the Blora Regency area will register their students and apprentices in the Employment Social Security Program (Social Security) before being sent to the place of field work practice or internship,” he said.
On the same occasion,Joko Handosono.S, Kom. said” that the protection of students and interns is in accordance with Minister of Manpower Regulation Number 5 Year 2021 which requires students and interns to become BPJS Employment participants to get protection against work accidents and death.”he said “.
